Schoology NEXT 2017

Schoology believes educators should be able to personalize the educational experience for every student. In this session you’ll hear more details about Schoology’s vision, how we support that vision today and how we will support it in the future. 

This session will include a panel of educational leaders from around the U.S. who will share their district's journey implementing Blended Learning. Many schools are now comprised of bricks (the face-to-face classroom) and clicks (the Schoology online classroom). How do you successfully blend the two? How do you lead your organization to effectively implement this instructional model? Join leaders in the field to discuss emerging best practices. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a back channel and add their thoughts to the discussion and pose their questions to panel participants.

Objectives:

1. Understand how educational institutions around the U.S. are building and sustaining the pedagogical shift to blended learning.
2. Participate in a back channel chat sharing knowledge and posing questions to panel participants.

1) Participants will examine a model of professional learning for teachers as they transition to a technology-rich environment and increase blended learning opportunities
2) Participants will come away with a framework they can use in their own districts or schools to transform to a blended learning environment
3) Discuss and share effective professional learning practices that are having a transformative impact on educators around the U.S.
