Colleges and school districts have embraced distance learning and dual enrollment as a strategy for improving college outcomes for students, including underrepresented minorities and disadvantaged students. We aim to discuss the process that William Penn High School has taken to promote access to new opportunities through distance learning and dual enrollment programs, enhancing the physical design of the classroom environment, and how the Schoology LMS helps our students meet their personal goals.

Objectives: Attendees will come away from this session with:
1) A foundational undrestanding of distance learning and dual enrollment
2) An appreciation for the opportunities provided by distance learning and dual enrollment
3) Benefits and challenges of implementing distance learning and dual enrollment
4) Brainstorming strategies on how to implement distance learning and dual enrollment in your institution.
5) Methods for establishing partnerships in your local communities
