Schoology is a multi-faceted, multi-functional tool that allows for incredibly engaging learning opportunities for learners when educators have the needed skill set to craft and deliver quality content. By utilizing all of the internal and external tools and applications available to Schoology users, educators can build unique, accessible content directly into their course-requiring less clicks and yielding more learning opportunities. In this session we will explore the many capabilities of the insert content tools, embeddable 3rd party tools that expand the capabilities of the Schoology platform, and uniquely engaging learning applications available in the Schoology App store. Come together with like-minded colleagues to learn and collaborate on building beautiful, creative, engaging content for your learners that work across all devices, that are aligned and pinned to learning objectives, and that are focused on providing data that can help educators inform their instruction.
Objectives: Attendees will come away from this sessions with:
- A strong understanding of the capabilities and functionality of the insert content tool.
- Ideas for how to embed exciting 3rd party tools like Padlet, Nearpod, Go Formative, Ed Puzzle, and more into their Schoology course for unique learning and assessment opportunities.
- Several immediately usable curricular items i.e. newly designed discussions, revised interactive one-pagers with the page tool, and assessments that are interactive, engaging, and focussed on providing feedback for incorrect answers as well as providing data to instructors.
